I’ve been looking for a peak Sumatra Mandheling whole bean roast for a long time now. The supermarkets used to satisfy my urge, but over the last few months they have lacked flavour and punch. I’ve tried many suppliers, but until today I feared my noble quest was in vain. Then I found this at the back of the wardrobe - a Christmas present never delivered. Could this be the answer I mused as I ground the dark aromatic beans. YES! My question was answered with a deep enriched brew. Outstanding!
